Sophia Bramwell-Kenchington is our female chiropractor who cares for all ages from the very young to the young at heart.
Sophia’s interest in chiropractic was sparked after observing her youngest siblings receiving chiropractic treatment as babies and the life changing improvements that they had.Sophia initially graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences before deciding to study Chiropractic in which she graduated with Distinction in Masters of Chiropractic in 2015. She has a keen interest in treating the whole family in particular chiropractic care during pregnancy, and the treatment of babies and children. Sophia continues to enrol on courses on treating babies, children and care during pregnancy; including returning to university in 2019 to gain Distinction in Advanced Professional Practice in Paediatric Musculoskeletal Health.
When working with a baby, chiropractic care includes extremely gentle techniques, including cranial to help relaxation and reduction in symptoms. Sophia can also use gentle techniques when providing chiropractic care during pregnancy, for young children and for some adults depending on their requirements for example for temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain.
Sophia mixes a range of modalities into a treatment plan that she designs with you. Using chiropractic manipulation, sacro- occiptal techniques, and mobilisations to help improve joint mobility with different techniques to work on the soft tissues alongside rehabilitative exercises.
Sophia assesses the body as a whole, to work out the cause of the symptoms. Over the years she has had the pleasure of successfully treating many amateur and several professional athletes; e.g. two GB Diathlete World Champs, golfers, rugby players, footballers, runners, rowers, boxers, dancers, gymnasts etc.

Stuart Bramwell- Kenchington

Level 3 Diploma Personal Training, Fitness Instructing and Exercise Referrals.
MMA Fitness, Pad Work, Indoor Cycling, Circuit Training, Kettlebell Instructor

Stuart from SK’s Fitness is back working alongside Sophia as a rehabilitation and personal trainer. Being a husband and wife team they are able to work together to provide a treatment and training program to suit you.
Stuart became a qualified Personal Trainer in 2017 after completing his course with Premier Training. He was inspired to become a trainer following his own personal journey.
In his early-mid teens Stuart was overweight with little-to-no muscle, from having a very sedentary lifestyle including gaming. Over the following three and half years he lost 5 stone by majorly increasing his physical activity with kickboxing, karate, cycling and running. However, by 17 years old Stuart became obsessed with exercising and he was training 3 hours most nights. This led to other health issues such as being underweight and over- training injuries.
Stuart has since had an overhaul of his lifestyle including his diet and physical activity balance to maintain his weight which is ideal for his height.
Through this journey he understands how it feels to be overweight and underweight and the strain it has on your body mentally and physically.
Stuart has also dislocated both of his shoulders at different times and has suffered from knee pain in the past and so he appreciates what is involved in rehabilitation and the importance of working alongside healthcare professionals to regain strength and fitness. He is aware of the necessity to strengthen the weakened areas and build muscle at a sensible pace to reduce the chance of further injuries.
He has keen interest in back, shoulder and knee injuries. Using technology and new research.
